Chairman’s message
Dubai, December 4th 2025
Dear Members of the Italian Business Council,
I would like to share with you an update on the journey that we, as the Italian Business Council, are pursuing together. Over the past months, we have made important progress that strengthens our identity, consolidates our structure, and further enhances the role of the Council within the UAE ecosystem.
One of the most significant achievements has been the approval of our new statute. This was not simply a formal achievement: it was the result of a long and intensive process that now more clearly defines who we are and who we aim to become. The new statute establishes the national nature of the Council, open to all seven Emirates, introduces stronger and more transparent governance rules, and aligns our procedures with the most recent directives from Dubai Chambers. It provides a modern and solid foundation designed to support our growth in the years ahead.
At the same time, our community continues to be our greatest strength. The quality, engagement, and diversity of our members make every Council initiative valuable and meaningful. In recent months we have seen increasing participation in our networking events, industry-focused sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities. Long-standing members, young professionals, large corporations, SMEs, consultants, and family offices all contribute to making the Council an inclusive environment that truly reflects the excellence of the Italian presence in the UAE.
In this spirit of evolution, we have launched an important new initiative: the Women Committee. Its goal is to broaden female representation within our community, create dedicated spaces for dialogue, encourage the sharing of experiences and best practices, and support greater diversity in future board candidacies. Their contribution will be essential in ensuring that the Council remains balanced, dynamic, and reflective of the richness of our membership.
We have also undertaken a complete renewal of our brand identity. In a world where communication is increasingly digital, it was essential for us to update our brand to better reflect the strength, credibility, and evolution of the Council. This is the vision that inspired our new brand identity and our new logo: an Italian-Emirati column symbolizing our heritage, our values, and the cultural and economic bridge we continue to build between Italy and the UAE. Alongside this, we have launched our new website and updated all our digital communication channels.
Looking ahead, we will keep working to expand opportunities for engagement with institutions, companies, and local stakeholders, strengthen our committees, attract new partners and reinforce the Council’s position as a key platform for the Italian community in the UAE. As always, your contribution will be fundamental. The Council evolves and grows thanks to your ideas, your participation, your trust.
Thank you for your continuous support, and I invite you to remain proactive, to share suggestions and to feel fully part of this shared path. Together, we will continue to build a strong, representative and forward-looking community that creates more and more value for all its members.
